It’s OK
This is an OK app — they’re just flashcards.
The main benefit I see is it saves me a lot of time writing them out by hand and I don’t have to remember to lug cards around with me when I want to study. I like being able to shuffle the deck, rate the easiness of a particular card, and being able to decide whether or not to learn the cards by answer or by question.
I somewhat dislike the layout, though. Typically when I make flashcards, one side has the question, the other has the answer. While this way shows you the question (or the answer) and covers the other half, I feel like the text is too small. It would be nice if we could have one side with the question, and then the other with the answer. That way we might also be able to use photos as the question and not just in the answer. This is beneficial when learning languages in particular (I’m sure there are other subjects where this might be useful).
Finally, I feel there would be a more seamless user experience if I didn’t have to click on the card to learn the question/answer and then have to move over to the arrow to click to the next card. It would be nice if there was an option to be able to create the cards so that the question and answer show up as two simultaneous cards when in study mode. So click the right arrow, it shows my question, click the arrow again and it shows my answer. Simple, effortless, and I can move through the cards quicker.
